Thank you so much Indiana USA 🇺🇸 for coming by our booth at the Westfield Farmers Market last week and asking about our Lavender Farm! We love talking to everyone about lavender!! 😍💜
Lebanon | Kevin & Tracy Lavender from Sugar Creek Lavender Farm | Traci: “We started five years ago. I was a teacher for 19 years. I taught kindergarten and preschool and one year of 3rd and 4th grade. We started this while I was teaching, I retired from teaching two years ago, and we do this now full time, and I make products, go to different events such as farmers markets and holiday events to sell our lavender products.” Tell me about your lavender products. "We like to partner with people, such as the Fire + Fern Apothecary by Ulen Candle Co. in Lebanon. We are located just north of Lebanon, so that was a good partnership. I also partner with another retired teacher who loves to paint watercolor, so she makes note cards for us. And then there's another vendor that we met at an event, and they make our lavender earrings. I also make eye pillows which you can heat up in the microwave and use on sore muscles, or you can stick it in the freezer and use it as an ice pack. We have sachets. We have lavender dryer bags because a lot of people don't like to use dryer sheets anymore. We have loose leaf teas, and we also make baking sugar. We also have culinary lavender. A lady just bought some culinary lavender to make some cookies with. We make a lavender bug spray because mosquitoes do not like the smell of lavender. We also have a sugar scrub, a salt scrub, and our linen spray. We have Magical Monster Spray in case you have monsters under your bed or in your closet.” [I met Kevin and Tracy at the Westfield Markets.]
