🚨 WE’RE TAKING THE WEEK OFF. 🚨

Before anyone starts asking questions… NO, THE FOOD TRUCK DID NOT ACTUALLY CATCH ON FIRE. This is the product of me (Nicole) leaving the team high and dry the first night of peppers week! 😂🔥

Although, considering the amount of chaos we’ve experienced lately, I’m not ruling it out.

This week, we’re trading the fryer for a little family time because WE’RE GOING TO SEE OUR SAILOR. ⚓️🇺🇸

Our boy is graduating Navy boot camp, and there was absolutely NO WAY we were going to miss it. ❤️

So while 68 Express will be temporarily parked, we’ll be somewhere in Great Lakes being ridiculously proud, probably crying, probably embarrassing him, and definitely eating something that somebody else cooked. 😂

We’ll be back next week!

The truck survived the fire.
The marriage survived the food truck.
And somehow, we survived Navy boot camp. 😂

Now excuse us while we go hug our Sailor. ⚓️❤️

🚨 KINDA URGENT PRAYER REQUEST 🚨

Chris has officially reached the stage of summer where he is no longer asking for money, success, or world peace.

He wants 60° and a light breeze.

That’s it.

That’s the prayer. 🙏🏼😂

Unfortunately, God has apparently placed us on the “build character” plan.

Although not as much as last week, we’re still sweating it out! 🫠

⏰11–2 & 5:30–CLOSE (We’re taking a little break to do our parental duties at open house tonight!)

Then tomorrow we’re kicking off football season and supporting our local youth program at LHS! 🏈

A little update before the buffet-box chaos begins:

👉 WE ARE DELAYING THE START UNTIL NOON.

And honestly? That one is completely on us. 😂 We need to prep MORE FOOD, and unfortunately, food does not prep itself. We should’ve done it last night. 😞

But yesterday’s heat had us operating on approximately 3% brain power, and there’s no telling what you guys would’ve received today if we’d tried to prep everything. 🤭

So we’re going to sit directly in front of this fan, hydrate, question every life choice that led us here, and Beyoncé it out just a little bit longer. 💃🏻💨

Then we’re getting to work.

🔥 BUFFET BOXES START AT NOON! 🔥

And PLEASE be patient and kind with us today. ❤️ We’ll be building these TO ORDER, so they’re going to take a little time.

We promise it’ll be worth the wait.
We just need to survive the surface of the sun first. 🫠
