*** Message from the Owner***
Hello everyone!
I’d like to share an update on the future of Lebanon Farmers Market and how our community can help it grow.
When I purchased the market, my goal was to restore it as a destination for local, locally sourced, and handmade products. We’re making progress thanks to our dedicated vendors, and I want to see their businesses thrive here for years to come.
The best way to support the market is to shop during market hours, share our vendors’ businesses with friends and on social media, and help create a welcoming environment for everyone. We may not agree on every decision or change, and that’s okay. What matters is working together to build a market our community can be proud of.
*We’re looking for new vendors!!!!*
We’re especially hoping to find a produce vendor offering fresh, locally grown produce. We’re also interested in vendors selling meat, seafood, poultry, ice cream, donuts, specialty foods, international cuisine, homemade goods, pet food, and other unique products.
To help bring these new businesses to the market, we’re offering an opportunity we’ve never offered before: *THREE MONTHS OF FREE BASE RENT!* Here’s how it works: Sign a minimum one-year lease by November 15, and your first three months of base rent will be completely waived. It’s an opportunity to establish your business in our market and become part of its future.
This offer also extends to our vacant upstairs restaurant space. We’re looking for an experienced restaurateur with the vision and expertise to bring this space to life and become another exciting part of the market.
Know someone who might be a great fit? Please share this opportunity! Interested vendors can message us on Facebook or email [email protected].
*Call for Volunteers!*
I know Lebanon Farmers Market holds a special place in many people’s hearts. Some of you have supported our vendors for years, continue to shop here regularly and want to see the market succeed. If you’ve been wondering how you can do more, I would love your help!
I’m looking for community members who want to help bring Lebanon Farmers Market back to its full potential and build a place our community can be proud of. I want to create opportunities for those who care about the market to get involved, share ideas and have a voice in shaping its future.
There are so many ways to contribute, including helping establish a community advisory board, supporting marketing efforts, recruiting new vendors and planning events that bring more people through our doors. I would also love to explore unique programming in the Worrilow Event space in coordination with our event planner, Andre. Think holiday gatherings, dance parties, DJs, wellness retreats, mini trade shows, craft fairs and other creative events that bring our community together. The possibilities are endless, and I welcome fresh ideas!
In addition to volunteers, we are looking to hire an on-site market manager for 30–40 hours per week. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about local businesses, community engagement and helping the market grow.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please message us on Facebook or email [email protected]. If you’re applying for the manager position, please include your resume.
This market has so much potential. I believe the best way forward is to bring together the people who care about it most. If that sounds like you… reach out and become part of what we’re building!
Thank you for your continued support as we move towards the future. We got this!
