Raising free rage Chickens with Non-GMO feed. We also have honey from our honey bees.

Its has been awhile since we have posted.

We have farm fresh free range duck and chicken eggs.

Have week old ducklings and will be hatching more in 18 days.

Looking to do 1 large order of chicken to raise on non-gmo feed and on fresh grass. Will take them to USDA processor that will also package. If not large enough interest 100-200 chickens then we will stay small and process and package.

We also have thought about raising turkeys the same

For those that bought a quarter and half a cow last year. I have heard nothing but praise on taste and how good our processor packaged. I hate to say but the cost will not be the same on beef next round. The cost to get replacements have almost doubled since last year.

Another chapter is almost in the books. We gave thanks to some wonderful cows as we continue to show the Farm to table life to our kids. We also enjoyed good laughes and stories of the two characters with the neighbors, especial the phone call last year when one escaped. Also thank you Sterling Silver Mini Farms for being great mentors in our first year.

One problem with free ranging chickens...every day is easter egg hunt. Came home from vacation and havent seen any cream color eggs. Well tonight we found the mother load. Almost 3 dozen cream colored ones!

I do not have Easter egger but think my girls and duck think they are.

I have been wondering why production was a little less past couple weeks. Mystery has been solved as we found a secret laying location. These will not be showing up any anyone's cartons.

Kids saw the bucket of eggs and funniest response: " Have our chickens been holding out on us!" 🤣😂😅🤣

Sorry have been absent lately. Farm has been super busy on top of life. Had suprise bees return to vacant hive. Kylo and Ren two rounds of shots and banded. Steers getting big just on grass. Put in the garden and was weeding and watering for hot weather. Hens been busy laying eggs

Fresh chickens available today. Will start freezing remaining ones for Monday Afternoon Pickup. Non-GMO feed, No Antibiotics!

We thought our duck was a drake turns out to be hen.

Next Saturday is processing day for meat chickens. Fresh chickens ready for pick-up . Frozen chickens will be ready on Monday

Glad rain has stayed away for a day. Enjoyable ending to busy weekend. The joy of the Kylo and Ren are fun to watch.

Things have been really busy on the farm. We lost little Luna but Kylo and Ren are thriving! Let them hop around in the yard before storms came in. Going to see if we can get one ready for the fair, along with market chickens, exhibition ducks and other projects.

Got Chicken coop moved today, celebrated 2 boys birthdays and had other triplet arrive today.
