Smokin' Stuff BBQ will be serving our Southern Style BBQ at the Palmyra Block Party at 40 Sycamore Lane, Palmyra, PA this Saturday, August 12th, from 5PM till 10PM or sold out. If you are in the area, make sure to stop by and satisfy your BBQ cravings with our "Award-Winning" Southern Style BBQ!

This will be our last public event as we have decided that it is time to retire from the BBQ world. We certainly appreciate all our loyal customers and enjoyed using our God given talents in bringing you some great BBQ.

Smokin' Stuff BBQ will be participating in the National Night Out at this year’s Jackson Township Night Out on Tuesday, August 1st from 6PM – 9:30 PM! SSBBQ will be there with many other food trucks, first responders, games for the children and other items of local interest followed by Fireworks at dusk.

On a side note, this will be one of the last public events Smokin’ Stuff BBQ will be participating in as we have decided that it is time to retire from the BBQ world. We certainly appreciate all our loyal customers and enjoyed using our God given talents in bringing you some great BBQ, however, Tina and I are looking forward to slowing down the pace and spending more time with our family.

Where Did We Get That Name, Smokin' Stuff?

Truth be known… on a Sunday morning in church. Yep, that’s right! Many years ago, I decided to welcome all the church guys to my house to have a “Boys Night” out. So, on a Sunday morning during announcement time I made the invite, and it went something like this…

“I just wanted to invite all the guys over to my house on such and such a night… It’ll be a great night of fellowship we’re gonna be smokin’ stuff and havin’ a good ole time…”

Guys, have you ever gotten the look? You know, that look you got from Momma when you said something stupid and Momma would tilt her head front and peer over the top of her glasses while laser beams shot out of her eyes that would have made Superman jealous? Well, imagine a couple dozen Mommas looking at me…

“YOU’RE GONNA SMOKE WHAT???”

No, no, no, no, no… we’re gonna smoke ribs & brisket & pork!

LORD HAVE MERCY!

Well, when it came time to name our team, we just couldn’t shake it. SMOKIN’ STUFF BBQ it was!
