🦓 Happy Gotcha Day Stripes! 🦓
One year ago today, I brought this beautiful girl home. And I’m not gonna lie… the buyer’s remorse was REAL. 😂 I distinctly remember thinking, “Oh my God… you just spent HOW MUCH on a striped horse?!”
She was my birthday present to myself, since I bought her the day after my birthday, and looking back now, it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
One year later, our little crazy crew has grown to two zebras, two mini donkeys, two standard donkeys (hopefully) bred to zebras, mini cows, a horse, and a few ducks. 🦓🫏🐴🐮🦆 And somehow, I wouldn’t change a thing.
These animals bring so much love, happiness, and pure joy. But probably the best part has been all the kids (and adults) who have come out here, especially the ones who had never really had the opportunity to be around animals before. Watching them experience that for the first time, watching them open up, laugh, love on the animals, and make those memories… that has been one of the greatest gifts of all.
And Miss Stripes? She is absolutely, without a doubt, the best girl ever!! She wants all the lovings and attention she can get ❤️
So here’s your reminder:
Life is too short. Buy the zebra. 🦓😂❤️
