Very excited about the pigs we are bringing to the NSR Extravaganza. We are bringing 2 male crosses, 2 cross gilts, 3 male tams and one gilt.

Due to numbers and time, this will be our only sale live or online we plan to do this year. We are instead going to go back to the Stone Age and open the barn, talk with customers and work to get customers the best projects we can at an affordable price.

Numbers are low at SSP but we believe we have a great set in the barn. We will open the barn in the next couple weeks and look forward to helping you get your 2026 show string!

New Breed Alert for SSP!

I got a text from dad last week with a picture of a bred Tam and he said what do you think about getting in the Tam business? We knew if we were going to jump in the Tam ring we had to tie in to an elite one. There were several on our short list but one kept coming to the top for us.

We think this one checks all the boxes for what we are looking for. A 2nd parity sow that looks like this, had an incredible first litter and is bred to an absolute hammer.

Big props to the Orem crew for believing in this one. This guy got sick early and was shown several times and found himself in the 2 hole at every show. They kept with it and he had to go to a national show to get out of the two hole!
