wondering what my customers think about this. ------------ since everyone all their cousins and their mamas are in town selling produce right now and gardens are starting to come in. i'm thinking. fruit day on Saturdays !!!!!! we will have some of the usual fare but start having what others do not feel like a better business choice. i can source clean organic anything and they call come thru the Richmond truck stop like the peach trucks. only thing we don't wont carry is melons so far we cant give them away. they are heavy and awkward to transport for the 5% profit ( if they sell ) and i don't have a truck. customer feed back is important to bring the best to you for reasonable prices and still make a profit , instead of composting the stuff that goes past -- in another life and time i was a head chef in a 4 star and i shop my goods as if i'm gonna eat it or cook it for others.. i used to get all our ingredients the same way i do now by using a huge network of farms and orchards that i have check each one and gotten a tour of their growing processes, and if they are organic or not. and my wife makes me pale in comparison to her pickyness.in our products because she is the face of our retail side. and she freaks if someone gets a rotten tomato by accident. and her canning and processing process unless it involved the BOMB ( being my 14 quart commercial caner ) no one is allowed in the kitchen including people cats and kids. and that being said my wife is an amazing woman she has so much on her plate right now and we still managed to get thru the day partialy sane
