Help us wish Lane a HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY 🎉🎂🥳

Stay off the roads! Just kidding, luckily he is a great driver with all of his practice in equipment over the years… the other side of that is maybe he’s a little too confident because of the same reason 😂

He is the most witty, smart, and loving guy. He’s anywhere you need him whether that’s in any sort of equipment, on the wash pad getting stuff shined up, or in the barn helping gets calves ready for our sale.

We hope you have a great day Lane!

Let’s talk Riomax!

“The tub that pays for itself”

We’ve been using Riomax PG360 mineral tubs for a year now and saw results within the first month of using it!

🧡 What is Riomax?
Riomax is one of today highest quality mineral tubs on the market, a highly concentrated livestock nutrition program designed to help cattle better utilize the forage and feed they’re already consuming. Its formulas support rumen function, nutrient utilization and overall herd nutrition.

🧡 Why use it?
Riomax is a family owned 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, American made 🇺🇸operation based out of Minnesota!

🧡 What results might you see?
- Improved forage utilization
- Better body condition
- Increased weaning weights
- Improved conception rates
- Savings on hay and forage

The goal is simple: get more out of what you already have.

This tub is the most dense in the industry, no pointless fillers, no salt. This product is meant to be supplemented with salt (we throw a salt block on top of the tub, or put loose salt in a mineral feeder nearby). Due to no fillers RioMax can be a sticker shock at first but with Riomax’s COSTGUARD90 guarantee, If cattle consume more than the guaranteed amount ( ⅓ lb/head/day maximum), Riomax will provide free product to make up for the excess consumption after the required 90-day period.

They don’t call it “The tub that pays for itself” for no reason.

We are proud to be the only Riomax dealers in Oregon. If you're looking for a way to get more from your forage, improve your herd's nutrition, or simply want to see what Riomax could do for your operation, we'd be happy to talk.

Curious about Riomax? Contact us to learn more and see if it's right for your herd.

Some nice looking cows if we do say so ourselves selves 😉

Some nice looking cows if we do say so ourselves selves 😉

Ranchers are grass farmers first and cattle producers second. The ability to turn every acre, drop of water, and blade of grass into pounds of beef is at the heart of a profitable and sustainable operation.

Across the country, producers are finding new ways to maximize forage resources through intentional grazing strategies, improved infrastructure, technology, and data-driven decision-making.

From rotational grazing and improved water systems to cover crops and pasture management, the goal remains the same:
✅ Healthier soils
✅ More productive forage
✅ More efficient cattle
✅ More resilient ranches

Programs through the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, including EQIP and CSP, are also helping producers invest in fencing, water infrastructure, grazing improvements, and conservation practices that strengthen operations for the future.

At the 2026 CattleCon session “Grazing with Purpose,” producers from diverse environments shared how they are adapting their management strategies:
🌱 Rachel Gray of Little Timber Farms focuses on developing functional females through genetics, grazing, and data collection. Matching cattle to the environment where they will ultimately perform.
💧 Greg Gardner and Wacey Cathey of Montana are expanding grazing opportunities through water development, rest-rotation grazing, and technology to better utilize challenging terrain.
🌾 Logan Pribbeno of W**e Glass Ranch is creating flexibility by integrating crop ground, cover crops, and partnerships to maximize every available acre.

While every operation looks different, the common theme is clear: successful grazing starts with intentional management and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Building a profitable and sustainable ranch doesn’t happen overnight, it starts with small steps. Improving one pasture, adding one piece of infrastructure, collecting better data, and making decisions that benefit the land and livestock for generations to come.
