🥩 WHAT TO MAKE WEDNESDAY 🥩

On today’s episode our advice to you is….. EAT REAL FOOD.

You know those meals that just make you feel good? This is one of them. A good ol’ steak salad… and yes the boys even like them 🤭

Pretty self explanatory on how to make it. But here’s a few key points. Murray beef sirloin tip steaks were a hit. As well as my high protein ranch dressing.

Ranch:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup buttermilk
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Ranch seasoning (ours was homemade)
Fresh dill
Fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Delish. Good for you. Filling. Healthy.

Today is flush day here at Murray Hay and Cattle!
We flushed 5 of our top donors today.
3/5 are all related, how cool is that.
We have the Dam “TMAS Ms Sign Away 7916E” and her natural calf from 2022 “MHC MAREN 205K” and another natural daughter from 2024 “MHC BABY 502M”
This cow has been a huge blessing to our program, how cool that all 3 are donor status!

Did you know we have a flush site on our property? Yep you heard that right, once a month the Trans Ova team comes down to Lebanon to flush people’s cattle.

About 2 Months ago Lane competed in the Lebanon FFA Tractor Event!
He was 1st for cultivating in beginner tractor safety
And 1st in Pallet loading! 🥇

Lane has been driving tractor for the farm since he was 9 years old! While it wasn’t a huge surprise he did well, we are very proud of him!
