Some of you were very very close in your estimates and some where waayyy to generous lol. Again she had a live weight of 230lbs and hung at 139lbs.

We raise heritage breed hogs in the woods with some pasture too so they grow a little slower. The meat is a little more red with a lot more flavorful due to all their forage opportunities. We don't push the feed to them just to get a bigger harvest.

To answer a few questions asked multiple times:
We do butcher ourselves for our own use and use just about everything, but use Flat Rock Processing here in Lebanon for customer's pigs.

We post to inform and grow. Do you like to know where your food comes from? We do!

For the few that don't eat meat. We respect that. We don't understand that because bacon is soo darn good. But differences is what makes the world go round and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

We dropped off some over abundance this morning. Don't worry there is still some in the farmstand @5880 Hunters Point Pk but hurry because the produce season is closing fast!
