Boulder Brook Stables offers customized training and boarding programs. BBS is home to a competitive and proven training program in all disciplines, including general training, hunter/jumper and AQHA all-around events. The program is lead by Amanda Hanson, who has over 30 successful years of showing and riding under her belt. We are proud to offer our individualized training program as well as les

sons, ranging from beginners to top level horsemen and women. We take great pride in developing programs that allow each horse and person partnership to thrive in their personal goals and desires. Our boarding services include an array of amenities and top notch care for your horse. We have 40 stalls in our main barns, which are attached to the indoor arena, large viewing room, and the office. We also have 8 shed row stalls that are well-constructed and insulated. All horses receive daily individual or group turnout (weather and footing permitting) in grass and dirt paddocks. We have horse show results to share! On July 12, Boulder Brook Stables headed over to theTack Shack In Fremont to join the Silver Heels Riding Club, and had a very successful day!

Notably, our youth riders took the top 3 spots in several classes:

In Youth Showmanship:
🥇 Bridget Grumbling
🥈 Kayden Talon
🥉 Abigail Wheeler

And in BOTH WTC trail (English and Western) 17 and under:

🥇 Kayden Talon
🥈 Bridget Grumbling
🥉 Abigail Wheeler

Abigail and Backstage Drama also pinned 4th in the Open Pony/Horse Conformation Class (in hand), 1st 🥇 in WTC English Pleasure 17 & under, 1st 🥇 & 5th in WTC English Equitation 17 & under, 4th in both WTC Open Pony/Horse Pleasure, and 3rd in WTC trail (English and Western) 17 & under.

Bridget Grumbling and Pretty Machine also received 1sts🥇WTC Western Pleasure (all ages), WTC Western Equitation (all ages) in BOTH classes, a 3rd🥉 in WTC Western Pleasure (all ages), and a 4th in Appaloosa Halter, 4th in paint/pinto halter

Kayden Talon and Regrets Only also placed 2nd 🥈 in Western Pleasure (all ages) in BOTH classes, 3rd 🥉 in BOTH Western Equitation (all ages), and 6th in paint/pinto halter

Jayden Peterson and Winnie had a great show pinning 3rd 🥉 & 4th in WT Western Equitation (all ages), and 4th and 5th in Western Pleasure (all ages)

Our adult riders brought it home as well!

Laina Nalesnik and Recy Once In A While had a fabulous day, with

1sts 🥇 in Ranch Horse Halter, QH halter, BOTH WT Ranch Pleasure (all ages), BOTH WT Ranch Pattern classes, and WT trail ranch.

This duo was also awarded 2nds 🥈 in Ranch Horse Halter, QH halter, and WT trail ranch.

Rounding us out was Crystal Johnson and Miss Alpine Poco who placed 2nd 🥈 & 4th in WTC English Pleasure 18 & over, and 6th in WTC English Eq 18 & over, Adult Showmanship (English and Western), and both QH halter classes.

We’d like to thank Silver Heels Riding Club for a great day, and look forward to next time!!

First item on the agenda:

Boulder Brook Stables would like to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, MIKE MAJOR and everyone who joined us for the clinic in June 🤠.

This was an incredible weekend education, fun, and demonstrated horsemanship as Mike mounted several horses himself! We are truly grateful that Mike chose to share his wisdom with us!

We also want to thank Katie Pape for arranging the photographer for the event, Lexi Chase of Sea Finch photography. Thank you Lexi for capturing the memories of this event!
