We had an unexpectedly high response to the deal that we were running on canning tomatoes.

The orders that have been placed will be filled but we are not taking any more orders for canning tomatoes at this time.

Beets are still available in 20 # bags for $1.00 per pound.

Hello everyone,

Starting tomorrow (July 22nd) and for a limited time only, we will be taking orders for canning tomatoes, available in 20 # increments, for $2.00 per pound. Tomatoes must be ordered a minimum of 24 hours in advance as we will be picking to fill orders and will NOT have extra available at the farm stand for purchase. Again, orders must be placed 24 hours in advance of picking up the canning tomatoes. Orders can be placed by calling (207) 524-5535. Again this is a limited time offer and will only be available for about a week.

We will also be offering bulk canning beets for $1.00 per pound, available in 20 # increments. The beets are large-extra large in size.

Just a reminder to all our seniors (or those who know a senior) today is the day that we are hosting an in person sign up for the Maine Senior Farm Share program.

We will have someone available to guide seniors through the process of enrolling online, we will have a laptop provided for seniors to use as well. This will only run from 9 AM till Noon today.

Hello everyone!

We know that there has been a lot of confusion and difficulty with seniors trying to enroll in the Maine senior farm share program this year due to all the changes that were made at the state level.

In order to try and help, we will have an in person sign up session, Monday July 20th from 9AM till noon. Please spread the word to any seniors you may know that are interested and need assistance.

We will have a laptop setup and have someone there to assist seniors signing up online.

There is still up to a 15 day waiting period for the state to review the application before the share can be used with us. So anyone signing up online Monday will not be able to use their share that same day.

Good news everyone! We are now able to accept EBT payments. Thank you for your patience as we got the system up to date and working properly.

Unfortunately WIC payments are not able to be processed.

Good afternoon everyone!

We are looking for someone to join our kitchen team! We are looking for someone who is at least 16 years old, has reliable and dependable transportation, and preferably has some experience working in a commercial kitchen environment, however experience is not necessary as long as you have a positive attitude, good work ethic and are willing to learn.

Hi everyone, we know that many of the people who enroll in the senior farm share program have had a hard time getting enrolled this season. Below are two ways that seniors can enroll, please share this with anyone that may have been unable to enroll up to this point.

A.) Please visit go online and visit:

www.maine.gov/dacf/ard/food-assistance/farmshare/index.shtml

There you will see a button to “apply now” click there and follow the on screen instructions to apply. Be sure to select “Androscoggin” when asked which farm you wish to participate with, and select “Levesque’s Organic Farm”. There is up to a 15 day waiting period for the government to review the application and approve applicants before the funds will be available for use.

B.) If you do not have access to the internet and do not have someone to assist you, you can call:

This number should allow you to be able to enroll over the phone.
