Dear Friends

It is with much pain we inform you that two taprooms are not in the cards for us and we will be closing the Independence(North) location to the public effective October 5th.

Though we have attempted to reach additional markets with our delicious libations, the assistance we have received from the city of Independence has been underwhelming, city liquor controls downright harassments, and old/new landlord disputes with their unwillingness to negotiate on behalf of their tenants, leaves us no choice.

We do want to give a shout out to a couple of groups, Independence Chamber of Commerce has been more welcoming than our home chamber, Independence Square Association doing great things for the city, and of course the patrons that choose us above all others(We hope to still see you in Lees Summit)!!!

Craft B**r has taken a hit over the last couple of years and we don't want to be next one to fall by the waste side. We are making these changes to hopefully not be that next causality. Get out and support ALL small craft breweries before there are no more.

Unearthed some fun old photos of “Great Grand-Pappy NumSkull” in his workshop working on some circus sideshow banners. We believe these were in preparation for the questionably infamous showing at Fringe B**rworks Downtown Lee's Summit Fourth Fridays Art Walk he supposedly was quite a character. Too bad Benji wasn’t lucky enough to inherit his good looks…
