My interest in party and event planning began when I got a job in Banquets and Catering for a large hotel over 19 years ago. I worked there for nearly four years until my husband was transferred and we then moved to a different city. It was actually a fluke of luck, as I had just happened to stop by the bakery simply to look at all the cakes and such and as I was there I started talking with one o
f the decorators-who also happened to be a manager. We talked for over 30 minutes and I casually mentioned how much fun I thought decorating would be. She basically offered me a job right there (we got along amazingly). I started work the next week and found that I not only LOVED decorating but I was REALLY good at it! I worked there for almost two years and I have worked for two other bakeries professionally since and have also continued to do party needs from home since the start of it all. I made the decision to start my own business after a lot of thought and discussion. It wasn't a hard decision to come too as the simple fact is I LOVE decorating and I LOVE party planning! It just makes sense to start doing it professionally again but through my own business. We are in the process of designing the website and getting the pricing figured out. As well as adding more pictures (unfortunately I just recently started taking pictures of my work, as I never imagined doing this on my own).
