The boys are back in town! We have moved the steers back to the pastures near the winery. They love people, head scratches and fresh grass.
Since we were busy moooooooving cattle, we will not be grilling burgers this weekend, but you can still steer yourself to the winery for a glass! 🍷 🐮

How do you make a refreshing Rose? You CHILL it 🥶. Bill and Tremain are staying cool in the chiller with the first round of grapes harvested for our ‘24 Rose- Chelois, Chamboucin, and Vermentino. We chill them overnight after harvesting to get rid of the field heat before processing.

Three wise men

This winter we happily have three Brown Swiss oxen graze in our vineyard. Having the boys in the vineyard has been a fun synergy of agriculture; the oxen have grown bigger on the stockpiled vineyard grass, the vineyard grass has gotten a good winter clipping, but our favorite part has been to see life in the vineyard during the dormant season.
