I had one of those moments today that stops you in your tracks.

I found this tiny nest on the ground, delicate, perfectly woven, holding two speckled eggs. Something so small, yet so intentional and strong. Every blade of grass, every piece of fiber placed with purpose.

I couldn’t just leave it there, so I carefully secured it back up in a tree hoping to give these little lives a fighting chance.

Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. The resilience, the instinct, the quiet determination… birds build entire homes with nothing but what they can carry, and somehow create something this beautiful and functional in just a few days.

It’s a good reminder to slow down and notice what’s around us. There’s a lot of life happening in the small, unseen places.

We had an incredible, amazing, busy weekend, and we enjoyed every minute of it!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!!!

On Friday, Home Farm 1760 was featured as part of Loudoun County’s Farmer’s Trading Card Program. We showcased our goods at Segra Field during the Loudoun United home soccer game, and were honored by opening the game with the coin toss!! During the event, we met our fellow farmers, creating new relationships and friends!

On Saturday, Home Farm officially opened its gates to the public, selling our goods straight from the farm to the community!!

We are amazed by the support our friends, neighbors, and community has shown us! We connected with neighbors, business owners, and forged more relationships!!

We are excited to continue to share our farm with y’all, and THANK YOU again for your support!!!

We were beyond excited when a box of joy containing our Floret Online Workshop Course Book, a signed card, and other goodies were delivered from our local in Leesburg, VA.

This time of year the winds of fall herald the arrival of winter, and our farm and gardens are being tucked away - treasured plants put to bed, and the grounds ready for snow's embrace and the rest to come. It's a time where we welcome a brief pause - moments to delve into introspection, dreaming, and growth. This winter we are thrilled to embark on a journey with and their Online Workshop, with a cohort of inspiring individuals from around the world, as we deepen our knowledge on cultivation, and hopefully integrate some Floret inspired approaches to education and beauty into our , and operations! We can’t wait to dig in!
