Cavallo had a fun start to the summer at Loudoun Benefit last week! On the jumper side, Michelle Newton and Brinley Bryan went fast and clear for multiple blue ribbon rides in the .80s and .90s! Isabella Bertozzi and Coast Guard put great rounds in the low children’s!
Across the road, our hunter and equitation junior riders put down great rounds in their respective classes! Isabella Bertozzi and Cousteau took top ribbons in a highly competitive 3’6” junior hunter division! Bella Maniscalco and Ducati handled the low children’s in a similar fashion, strutting to a third place in the under saddle. Lastly, Elsa Eastment and Domino Van Lange Weeren took consistent placings in the equitation, including a third in the WIHS hunter phase.
Meanwhile, our adult hunter riders had a blast under the oaks! Nancy Voytosh, Jessie Knight and Katie McAfee put great rounds in the adult amateurs! Talia Baghdoyan and Orlando stepped back into the show ring together, and earned a fifth in the VHSA adult eq on the flat!
The Cavallo Ponies continued to shine this weekend!!!
🌟Harper Lowitz & Geraldine won two classes to become short stirrup hunter champion and had top ribbons in the equitation🌟
🌟Fortune Cookie & Maeve Stephens won a short stirrup equitation class on Saturday, while Caroline Breen moved up to the short stirrup on Sunday for a 6th place in a very competitive division and won her Pre Short Stirrup class on Saturday 🌟

🌟Jessica Knight & Marcus Aurelius won the JR/AM derby and had top ribbons in the Adult Amateurs🌟
🌟Bella Maniscalco & Ducati won the championship in the low hunters on Saturday out of 33! And placed 3rd in the Mini Derby 🌟
🌟Knockout & Anna Carver were 3rd in the Open Derby with Bonaire & Eva Smith right behind them for 4th! Both had great ribbons in the Low Working Hunters🌟
🌟Elizabeth Uffelman & Grand Amour were 4th in the JR/AM Derby and Dale Dealtrey had great ribbons in the Low Hunters 🌟
🌟Dr. Nancy Voytosh & Mistaken Identity rode to great ribbons in the Low Working Hunters and Adult Amateurs🌟
🌟Elizabeth Vesey & August West got ribbons in the Low Hunters and had a top 10 ribbon finish in the Mini-derby🌟
