We sat down with our friend, and award winning beer historian, Mike Stein, to discuss our newest beer for Mount Vernon.

This collaboration beer between us, Lost Lagers and Chilly Hollow Brewing is a slightly sweet on the nose, pale ale that has balanced depth. But what makes this ale so special, is its roots in brewing history.

Learn more about this history by watching the video, or you can reach out to Lost Lagers for more in depth beer knowledge.

This recipe is available for other brewers interested in brewing their own batch of Common Country, let's all brew it together!

New Beer Alert!

If you haven't heard, we brewed an extra special collaboration beer with our friends at Chilly Hollow Brewing Company and Lost Lagers for George Washington’s Mount Vernon .

Common Country was created using a discovered recipe in a cook book to which Martha Washington often referred.

We are helping spread the recipe, so that others may brew the official recipe. Let's spread the love.
