Brossman’s is a family-owned farm located on Route 15 outside Leesburg, Virginia. We have been open since 2005, and are continuing to expand.
2012 was our first year staying open until Halloween for the pumpkin season.
In 2013 we expanded on our Spring planting to include radishes, spinach, cabbage, okra and more. For 2014, we began offering farm fresh eggs, cold drinks, soft serve ice cream, and Italian ice.
In 2015, we modified the roof to provide more shelter and better airflow. Rick designed and had raised planter boxes built, which are available for purchase. The raised planter boxes that we use at the stand have fresh herbs that have been sprayed with only water – no chemicals. There are several rows of herbs that are covered and sprayed only with water – by popular request of our customers. Rick also designed and had cooling boxes built that are made of locust wood and filled with cool water to keep veggies cool and crisp.
We grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, bake home-made pies and pastries, and have ice cream to ease those hot summer days.
In addition to fruits and vegetables, we have Christmas trees that reach full maturity each year and include the varieties: Canaan Firs, Douglas Firs, Frasier Firs, and Blue Spruce.
Our address is 14740 James Monroe Highway in Lucketts, VA.
