Myrtle and Bertha seem to have a cough, probably from the temperature changes. To be safe we gave them an extra boost of some vitamin B and fresh oregano to hopefully boost them up a bit and get them over whatever they are fighting ❤️

Bee check. Really hopeful for our first hive. The laying pattern for this queen is way better than the one we had to dispatch. Hive 2 is still struggling… I saw the queen and she’s still small and doesn’t even look mated yet. I’m not sure what’s going on. I left her and the queen cells they are building. If they swarm I’ll try and catch them with a swarm trap nearby. We’ll go from there and check them in a week. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
