Absolutely crushed it today at Waredaca PVDA show, Vito won his class on a 71.94!! So pleased with his progress, I am so excited to have this guy on my roster!

09/05/2022

So grateful for this big guy, this year has gone sideways in every imaginable way and yet I have still been able to learn so much about balance while trying to figure out how to do dressage... It's hard man, but Allison and Ro keep supporting me and I am so lucky to have them!

09/04/2022

Rascal is getting so much more confident, growing up so nicely! Starting over fences and ready to be a proper event horse!

09/04/2022

A couple of set backs with this one but he is doing so well I am really excited to see how far we can get with Rod!

Not a perfect day but I do love this horse!!

Sunday outing to Loch Moy farm was another success.
Willie worked on his confidence over fences and put in a great round. Alisa and Peau did a great job working on their rhythm and accuracy. Emily and Cruiser also had not 1 but 2 fantastic rounds. But the star of the day was definitely my Calypso who put in a clean round at training height.
Way to go girls! Keep up the great work.

Almost 7 years ago my sister convinced me that I could use a "Lesson" horse. After browsing Virginia equestrian Madi sent me a "Free lease" listing that I couldn't talk my self out of. On paper he was everything I said I needed in a potential program horse so we took a chance on a new adventure.

Clifford aka Cliff/Cliffy ended up being so much more than just a leased lesson horse. He quickly became part of the barn family. Clifford had previously climbed the levels of eventing with his owner. After reaching his max he became the perfect horse to show other riders the ropes of eventing.
Over the last 7 years he has introduced many students to the world of horses. From their first time over fences to taking others to training 3days he has proven his worth many times over. Clifford was our lesson programs foundation horse. Since leasing him we have added a few other wonderful horses to a fast growing program.

Yesterday Clifford went back to his amazing owner to live out his retirement days as a spoiled pasture ornament. We can't thank Julia enough for trusting us to love her boy like she does. Clifford will be missed around the farm, but he has definitely earned his days of leisure.

HAPPY RETIREMENT CLIFFY!

This beautie watches me mow the fields all the time waiting for me to flush out some dinner, today a bunch of small birds came and attacked him and tried to run him off

Do you have a love for horses? Enjoy spending time with them? If so Chapel View may have the job for you... we are looking for someone to feed, clothe (if need be), and bring In and out our 27 horses.

For someone looking to take on a more full time position, we are also looking for barn help on the weekends. You would be responsible for mucking the stalls, dumping, scrubbing, and filling water buckets, as well as leaving a flake of hay in the cleaned stall.

06/06/2022

Excellent schooling at Beverly Equestrian, Willie put in a clean round and Roxy moved up to 2'6" ready for bn at Middleburg, and Calypso did her first round at 3'3" ahead of her move up at Seneca!

Congrats to the team of Jacqui Ross and Ro Ro for their great ride today. Congrats to Jacqui for earning her final score to qualify for her USDF Silver Medal. This pair got together later in Ro's career and have been taking each other places. Thank you to Jacqui; the gospel and leader of back to front riding. Thank you again to the vets and medical team of Piedmont Equine for their wonderful care of Ro Ro when he got a nail in his hoof very recently. They are always fantastic. Thank you Joe Davis, DVM. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Congrats to Jacqui Ross and Romance Wonderdust (Ro Ro) for breaking 60 with a 60.1 at PSG at the VADA/NOVA, INC. SUMMER WIND DOWN I show on 8/28/2021. It was a thing of beauty - and when they came down the center line, after the final salute - I cheered. [I got dirty looks because I was jumping up and down - screw them - this is one special horse and rider] I am so happy for them. And Jacqui has score #1 for her silver medal. Ro strutted out of the ring with his badass strut......
Thank you Jacqui and Tana for all of your help at Waredaca this week! You guys are awesome! Congrats to Tana for a great result! GO TEAM!
So good
Congrats to Jacqui Ross on achieving qualifying scores for third level for her USDF Bronze medal on Ro Ro. After only one year of being at Chapel View, Ro Ro is schooling 4th level, scoring in the 60's at third level consistently at rated shows and thanks to Jacqui's nutrition program, Ro has never looked better. Jacqui Ross has consistently worked Ro to push from behind and his steady, supple contact in a simple loose ring snaffle is a complete turnaround for his way of traveling!!! Congrats Jacqui!!!!
