Madi here....
I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for participating in yesterday's celebration. Without all of you this farm would not be nearly as wonderful.
Even though technically our 10 year mark isn't until December, no one wants a pool party in the snow 😅

I briefly touched on the beginning of our journey to this point yesterday. But I mean every word I said. The start to success was definitely full of challenges. Jacqui and I would sit in the old lounge and dream of the day we had a true farm family. Then list all the projects she wanted to accomplish. There was not a blade of grass in sight, the fencing was tired, and the rings were neglected. We started small, by cleaning and painting, adding brightness back to the barn. With every passing season i watched her set and achieve major goals in her career. Bigger projects were started and finished. And today I look out at the new fencing, clean barn, and manicured rings knowing she did all of it. I am proud of the "empire" she has built and continues to improve. Jacqui's biggest flaw is her need to better herself. Nothing is ever enough, better is best. And this is also one of her biggest assets. Top tier care is the only acceptable option. It shows through our rainbow of horses. From the 3yo to the 33yo, they all shine and thrive.

So here's to 10 more years, and to Jacqui for building this family one post at a time.

Jess had great day at Loch Moy Farm with Cruiser, xc still throws some challenges in the heat but sitting in 2nd place after sj shows just how far they have come!!! Thank you Sheri Knauer who kept us all well hydrated and fed! And of course Emily Burnham for letting us use Cruiser!

07/15/2024

Great schooling show at By Chance, Betsy put in one of her most rideable tests yet and won cash, Wilson stepped back up to 3rd, and Rascal made his 1st level debut! As always Laura Dubil Otten was the best owner and kept me hydrated, thank you Miranda Van Hemert-Hartsock for grooming!

Could not be more proud to coach this pair, Kailyn St. Germain and Sophie crushed it at the Loch Moy Farm 1*!!! This was the best riding I have seen from Kailyn all year and it really paid off with a 4th place finish! Truly amazing!!!

I do love building new jumps!😆

Did you know it's National Farrier week?
We would like to take this opportunity to give our one and only, Alton Whitted a massive shoutout!
Alton cares for our entire herd. From the FEI competition horses, to our retired seniors. He has bent over backwards for us, and even rescued us after horses have come in with an odd number of shoes in a moments notice. We know there are a few less than agreeable ones.... at times. But he always handles them with a kind hand and a paitent heart.
Finding the right farrier can be tricky, and we are beyond grateful to have Alton as a team member.

Thank you for keeping our pedicures flawless and our shoes attached 🖤

Jess tackled her first recognized horse trial with cruiser at Loudoun, so proud of what this pair has been able to do, grit and hard work will always get you to your goals!!

07/08/2024

Roxy was fantastic at Loudoun, looking glad to her novice move up in the fall!!!

07/06/2024

Tana and Simco were back out at Seneca and did a fantastic job finding great pace on xc even with a loose horse running across their path!!

07/04/2024

Willie was fantastic at Seneca, jumped very well and ate the xc up with no problems, next event we will need a move up i think!

06/26/2024

Roxy was super for her first recognized beginner novice at Middleburg, dressage is a challenge but she jumped around perfectly and has started to find confidence in xc, she won't be at this level long!

06/26/2024

A little more dressage a Morven Park Betsy was very good with only one spook in her test and the highest submission score yet!! Ro was the most rideable he had ever been and didn't get strong in the canter!! Wilson was Wilson and tested my riding throughly but of course still managed some high scores between the shenanigans 😆

06/22/2024

All the horses brought their sparkle at Loch Moy Farm Betsy is maturing and settling with every outing, Ro scored well and keeps getting stronger, Wilson was strong but put in very rideable trot work and Addie with Honor improved their score leaps and bounds over their last time out and continue to gain confidence in national competition!

06/21/2024

Chuck was so fantastic at his first elmentary! Finishing in the ribbons on his dressage score, I love this little guy!
