When a customer drops these off to Copeland because they know I haven’t felt well. Thank you !♥️
Thank you to everyone who always asks about me, or even asks me when they see me (Allison). I never like to make a big show over myself so I normally answer very shortly.
But I appreciate you all! And it will all be well!
Please have patience and understanding with our staff and my children if you see them.
We are short staffed besides just me, and Copeland has been working late into the night to be sure we still keep up our quality of work to you all.
We love our business and our customers . And as a small business , these times will always come.
But y’all sure find ways to make it worth it for us to keep keeping on! ♥️

Yall share this statement like CRAZY. Wild stuff going on in the milk industry right now in Louisiana. What are the odds that there are ONLY 11 cases linked to 3 DIFFERENT dairies? Raw milk has been on the shelf for months, and all of a sudden THREE different dairies put out bad milk at the same time? This seems sketchy.........

Let’s touch base on the recent statements made regarding raw milk and the three dairies named in the latest reports.

First, let’s be clear: if people are sick, that matters. No dairy producer wants anyone harmed, and food safety should always be taken seriously. What we are asking for is transparency.

We are now more than three weeks past the point when certain processors stopped picking up excess milk from local dairies. During that time, producers have continued working, serving customers, and trying to move forward.
The recent reports state that there have been 11 illnesses and two hospitalizations since April 2026 allegedly connected to raw milk from three separate dairies. As producers and members of the public, we believe it is reasonable to ask:

• How many cases are associated with each dairy?
• What testing was performed to confirm these infections?
• Were the bacteria isolated from patient samples?
• Were milk samples tested, and if so, what were the results?
• What evidence links each reported illness to a specific dairy?
• Was the determination based on laboratory findings, epidemiological investigation, or both?

These are not accusations. They are questions that deserve answers.
Many of us have also experienced inconsistent enforcement and confusion among retailers who carry our products. Some stores were told they could not legally sell products that were later determined to be legal. Some retailers were instructed to remove products before receiving clarification. That uncertainty has real consequences for small businesses, family farms, and local communities.

At the same time, consumers regularly see recalls involving many different types of food products across the country. We are simply asking that raw milk producers be treated fairly, judged by evidence, and afforded the same transparency that should be expected in any public health investigation.

This is not about ignoring food safety. It is about ensuring that public statements are supported by clear evidence and that producers, retailers, and consumers receive accurate information.
Louisiana families deserve transparency. Dairy farmers deserve fairness. And consumers deserve the facts.

We will ALWAYS be the first people to admit when we make mistakes. Although I personally believe there is room for interpretation in the law, we are no longer going to be doing any giveaways related to elections. Maybe this was a mistake, however our intentions were never to “buy votes”, but to simply encourage the community to get more involved in the process, and I believe the community and those who shop with us understand that.

On a separate note, I have not used our public business page with 12,000 followers ONE TIME to explicitly support ANY particular municipal candidate, but only to try to encourage the community to get more involved in the process. Apparently this guy with 0 followers and 7 posts (likely a FAKE account), doesn’t like that idea.

Our customers know who we are, and if this is how the Shapkoff campaign is going to operate, by using fake accounts to threaten successful local businesses with legal action because they don’t support them, then we will tell our customers openly and without any hesitancy at all, vote for LaFonda Stelly for Mayor of Leesville.
