The shade of old oak trees hides a red barn overlooking the waters of Lake Murray, the waters our family has called home for nine generations. At HCD we offer small batch, hand crafted southern moonshine. Our pride, passion and promise won’t allow us to take the easy road of buying bulk spirits, bottling them and selling them out of a storefront. Instead, we started with a recipe that has more exp

erience than the law allows and built this business from the ground up with the sole intention of providing high quality spirits to a market thirsty for old-fashioned moonshine. From a planted seed to a sealed bottle, this is ours. If you’re looking for local moonshine straight out of the good ‘ol days when life was a little slower, come and find the red barn and visit us to take a tour, taste a sample or buy a bottle.

Chillers are coming to an end!
Toast the end of their season by topping off a cold one with a shot of your favorite spirit- Try Pineapple Chiller with a Hell Fire splash- sweet on the lips with a little bit of heat! After this Saturday, 9/5/26, you'll have to wait until Spring to enjoy another cold one.
