🍅🫑🌶️We’re loaded up on tomatoes and peppers, grown right here on the farm.
🌻🌸We’ve put more mums out for perennial planting! These are garden variety mums that if planted by mid-September, for our growing zone, have the best chance of returning year after year!
🍂🎃The rest of our farm grown mums, and the start of our pumpkins will be ready for you in the next few weeks.
🐐🥛🧼🫧You can also find our goat milk skincare products at the farm stand!

As our county fair comes to a close today, I want to take a moment to share the accomplishments of not only some of our herd, but also that of the two youngest farmers at T and Farm.

Lane showed her steer Hobo this year. He won 3rd in his market class and Lane won 3rd in her intermediate showmanship heat!

Hadley and her dairy beef feeder, Snowball, took 5th in bantam showmanship out of 24 🌟 They also took 4th in her market class!

Hadley took some of our goats as well. She showed dry yearling, T and H Farm Novella Noir and 3 yo milker, Grace N Grit W Kaleidescope. Hadley and Nova won 2nd place in the costume contest and with Kallie, placed 11th out of 12 in the production class (judged by weight milked). Huge accomplishment considering Kallie is past her prime production this season AND is only a 2F. Production class is mostly standard dairy goats!
Hadley did great in her bantam showmanship class with a 4th place ribbon. She also placed 5th in bantam skillathon!

Many people think of mums as a fall decoration, but they can also be enjoyed as a perennial in your landscape!
When should I plant?
For the best chance of your mums returning next year, plant them as early as possible. Earlier planting gives the roots more time to establish before winter.
We begin offering a select number of mums for perennial planting very soon, before our peak fall bloom season.
Will my mums come back next year?
While no plant's survival can be guaranteed, planting early and providing proper care greatly improves the chances that your mums will return the following spring.
Tips for success
☀️ Plant in a location that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight each day.
🌱 Plant in well-drained soil.
💧 Water deeply after planting and continue watering regularly until the ground freezes if rainfall is limited.
🍂 Apply 2–3 inches of mulch after the ground has frozen to help protect the roots through winter.
✂️ Leave the spent stems in place over winter. Trim them back to new growth in the spring rather than cutting them down in the fall.
A few things to know
Mums bloom in response to shorter days, so flowers will naturally appear as fall approaches. An early-planted mum may spend several weeks establishing roots before putting on its colorful fall display—and that's a good thing! A strong root system gives the plant a better chance of thriving year after year.

There's just something about baby goats that makes people smile. 🐐💚
Our farm has been full of bouncing, playful little personalities this spring, and we were thrilled to welcome some visitors out to enjoy them during a baby goat mini photo session. Watching families laugh, cuddle babies, and make memories right here at T and H Farm was such a joy.
A huge thank you to Chelsea Lease Photography for capturing these moments so beautifully. She has an incredible eye for turning everyday farm life into memories families will treasure for years to come.
We're so grateful to everyone who came out and spent part of their day with us. We hope these photos bring a smile to your face just like these little kids do for us every day. ❤️

Summer weather is finally here and we’re busy working on all the beautiful fall colors!

Our mums and pumpkins are planted and being grown right here on the farm.

We have some pretty tri-color combos, a nice selection of single colored pots, lots of fun stacker pumpkins, as well as minis and carvers

🌟New for this year!🌟 We will be offering early sales of our mums at the farm stand for early, perennial planting so you can enjoy beautiful fall color year after year.

We attended our first show yesterday with our friends at Lil’ Fishers. What an experience! Our senior does competed in very competitive classes, our Jr. does did wonderful. Herdsire Rambo pulled out a Reserve Champion and his progeny, Lil’ Fishers Ramblin’ Pride pulled out with Jr. Champion! What a great learning experience, and we’re already planning our next show!
