Came back to the boat after our D.C. trip… and this is what I found.

Being next to a shipyard, sandblast dust is sadly a normal nuisance.

But this?
Black soot everywhere!
Just south of us, red paint staining the marsh.

We've made numerous calls to Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality -nothing changes.

It's not just about our boats and equipment. It's about the families who live here, who breathe it, and who deal with this every single day.

50th NOAA Fish Fry!

My grandpa fished oysters out of a pirogue in a little bayou called Bayou Rosa. It was known by locals for oysters that taste like nowhere else.

Tonight, we’re proud to share those same waters and that same story here in the nation’s capital at the 50th NOAA Fish Fry in Washington DC. Grateful for the journey!
