Caleb and The Red Queen after taking 3rd in their Horned Hereford Class. The judge loved her length and femineity and just needs groceries. She was nervous and pulling against Caleb a bit so she didn't perform her best but got a lot more comfortable in the show environment over the weekend. Considering we were questioning our sanity trusting our 11 yr olds to be able to hang on in the new environment because we were not sure either heifer was ready for it, it turned out to be a great weekend! We accomplished our goals, plus some! Next weeks goals: improve on pieces of showmanship for both boys.
