Sharing for our friends at Tup’s Crossing

Position is filled, thanks everyone! Tup's Crossing Farm is looking to add a part-time milker to the team! We are looking to fill the Saturday/Sunday afternoon shifts. Afternoon milking shifts run 4:00pm-6:30pm and pay $75/shift. Work requires being able to work independently, lift 50lbs, be with dogs, and occasionally wrestle an obstinate goat. Reliability and clear communication skills are a must. Interest in a longer term commitment to the farm is desired. We are in Orwell, VT.

Once a year we host the international students at for a visit and tour (and the college lets them choose a cheese to take back to campus). The opportunity to meet young folks from literally all over the world is one we can’t pass up- what a delight. We feel more optimistic about the future after just an hour with them!

They did not want to leave the baby goats, and moreover they all seem to have loved their semester or academic year here in VT. What a gift to have Middlebury College in our community.
