Dolly () decided to escape from her mother to come down the meadow to visit her new half sister/ friend Lucille (). Neither one of their mamas seemed very pleased by Dolly's unannounced journey. The chickens scared Dolly back to her mom.

Looking back I found a photo of Juniper born 7/5/20 with her mom Gem and more recently Juniper with her calf Lucille born 7/18/23. Grandma Gem is further up the meadow and hasn't yet met her granddaughter 😊 Three generations here on the farm.
