After the storm

My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with all my family, friends and neighbors from Florida to the Smoky mountains. I am so grateful that in spite of all the destruction, most everybody is safe.

Everybody at Randall Glen is safe. We got a lot of water but lost no animals or buildings. The road will need a lot of work but that's nothing new...

A New Zealander canoeing across Canada saves the life of a Pyrenees.

While canoeing down a Canadian river, Tom Hudson found a 14-year-old Great Pyrenees dog trapped under a log in the muddy water.

When we got a peek last week, there were 11 eggs.
