The first trial of 2026 is under our belt! Day 1 didn’t go as we had hoped, partially cattle, partially a sick handler not trusting her dogs… but we turned things around day 2 with a PR with Piper! Red & I are building some rapport this year. I sure love the little weird eared girl, but I’m not sure she can say the same about liking me 😂 We have 2 weeks off to work on some things until Curtis. Let’s go girls! 💪🏼

Am I the only one who sees it? Almost named her Grinch… but Sham/Shamu/Shamwow/Shampoop/Shamalamadingdong won out 😂🥰

Been busy getting ready for trials lately! This year I’ve devoted a LOT of volunteer hours into developing the website for The Good Life Stock Dog Series’ website along with my big girl job so I haven’t had many client pups in.

Today I took my crew to work calves to prep for the Nebraska State Fair trial in Grand Island. If you’re able, come cheer us on September 4 & 5!
