Grateful is the word of the day! I heard that word loud and clear throughout the pop-up market. Grateful that we showed up, grateful that we made the trip, grateful for the fresh fruits & veggies that were grown, and grateful to know where your food came from on your plate.

What Took Root: Reflections on Our First Season as a Berks County Farm — Our first full season at Wolfe Hill Farm was all about turning plans into practice: beds prepared, seeds started, bees welcomed, chicks raised, and a community beginning to gather. Read about our journey, lessons learned, and what’s next for the farm. https://wix.to/VRw6mPd

At the beginning of this season, so much of Wolfe Hill Farm existed as plans. There were garden beds to prepare, seeds to start, flowers to plant, bees to welcome, chicks to raise and an orchard beginning another growing season. What a wonderful day at Wolfe Hill Farm!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Harvest in the Orchard on Saturday. We loved seeing families and friends spending the day on the farm, enjoying the orchard, meeting the animals, creating at the kids’ activity table, visiting our local friends and simply enjoying a beautiful fall day together.

We’re especially grateful to all of our friends and collaborators who helped make the day so special. Events like this are truly a community effort, and we appreciate everyone who shared their time, talents, products, animals, and creativity with us.

Thank you as well to everyone who brought donations for Helping Harvest. Being able to gather our community together while also supporting our neighbors in Berks and Schuylkill Counties made the day even more meaningful.

And most of all, thank you to everyone who came out and supported our little farm. Seeing the orchard filled with people enjoying this place is exactly why we love opening Wolfe Hill Farm to the community.

We’re already looking forward to the next gathering.

Never thought picking up a green trash can and red bins would make my day! For a Tuesday this was my goal, on my list✅ but I have to say the moment I pulled into the parking lot it was more than picking up a green or red bin to collect food donations, this was where many generous people, community, and businesses (corp and local) support our counties. We will have collection bins at our farm for the whole month of October. Wolfe Hill Farm Helping Harvest Annual Fall in the Orchard | 10/3
