It seems like a good time for a reintroduction. We are the Jennings family — Mike, Morgan and Sawyer. Not pictured is our multiple other family members and team that make this operation run (mom, dad, Nicole, Brenden, Cameron and Terry…family pics soon, guys?).

We are 8 generations deep in agriculture. Today, we raise corn, soybeans, hay, wheat, beef cattle, pigs and broiler chickens.

We’ve had a lot of new people join us here on our page the last couple of weeks — thank you for being here. My name is Morgan and I run this page with my husband, Mike. We are raising our daughter as the 8th (yes, 8th!) generation of Jennings Farm & Livestock👩🏻‍🌾

Mike works full-time on the farm producing corn, soybeans and hay. Together, we have worked to expand our livestock operation to include beef cattle, pigs, and poultry.

The poultry has been our personal 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 🐓 We work to expand this part of our business every year and that’s all thanks to your continued support. Our goal is to be your go-to for all things chicken! We have so many awesome plans in the works to continue bringing you not only delicious meat but peace of mind about where it comes from. We value the opportunity to shake your hand and say thank you for choosing us when you come pick up your family’s food.

As in previous years, we will be offering a bulk pre-order sale for broiler chickens offered in wholes, breasts, thighs, wings, and drumstick cuts. Bulk orders are available in the spring/summer and fall. All remaining cuts can be purchased throughout the year…just send a message.

▪️One all-day pickup day will be posted with the order form. If you cannot make that pickup day we will work with you to schedule a pickup
▪️Chicken would be ready for pickup approximately mid-June

owning livestock is beautiful.
but it’s also brutal.

people show the good parts..
the babies, the first steps, the magic.

but not the part where you walk into the barn
and know something’s wrong.

the panic.
the helplessness.
the quiet after.

because we don’t just “have animals.”
we know them. we love them.

and when we lose one… it wrecks you.

you still cry in the stall.
you still carry the guilt.
you still bury them yourself and whisper “i’m sorry” even when you did everything you could.

this life is real.
and it hurts.. because you loved them.
