Well, here we are. The last week of the season for The Harvest. Saturday October 17th will be our last day for the year. We still have a fair amount of all types and colors of pumpkins and gourds. Although the choices for potatoes, squash, and onions are not what they used to be, we still have some. Stop out and say good-bye for the year. We so enjoy seeing and talking to you all!!

For the last time, the wagons are loaded with pumpkins. We are all done picking. This would be a good couple of days to stop by and take a look. Forecast is for cooler weather next week. We are here today, Friday the 9th from 9 to 6. Tomorrow the 10th, we will be here 9 to 3 (maybe a little longer)

My Granddaughter model (Lainey) is showing off the pumpkins. All I had to do to hire her, is give her 1 pumpkin. Pretty cheap don't you think?

Look at the beautiful tree in all it's fall colors. It was so neat to sit and watch the leaves slowly falling to the ground

Where has the summer gone???? It's October 6th already and some trees are starting to loose their leaves. This also means it is time to get those pumpkins and fall decorations.
We still have a good selection for you to choose from.

October 17th will be our last day of being open this fall. Grandpa and Grandma Pumpkin want to do a few things yet this fall, besides work, so that will be our last day. We so enjoy seeing you all come out. Families have a lot of fun picking out that perfect pumpkin. We appreciate all those who have come all summer long!

It's going to be a beautiful Friday and Saturday! You can shop for pumpkins in fairly dry conditions!
We do have a VERY good selection of pumpkins and gourds. We have wagon loads of things for you to choose from. We will be here today (Friday the 2nd) from 9 to 6, tomorrow will be 9 to 3 (Actually its going to be such a beautiful day, we will stay open until 5)
Pumpkins, gourds, broom corn, colored corn, antiques, collectables, potatoes, onions, peppers, and a great fun time of shopping for fall decorations.

We not only have large pumpkins, but we also have smaller ones for decorating, kids projects, 4-H clubs, Scout groups, etc. How about mini stackers as a gift for someone? Use for birthdays, teachers, desk at work, etc. put your creativity in high gear.

It's wet out here, but we have an excellent gravel driveway that dries quickly. You might get a little mud on your hands, but there are towels to take care of that.
We have a great selection of pumpkins, gourds, and all kinds of decorations. All sizes and colors. We feel very fortunate as we have probably 90% of our product picked and sitting on wagons.
If you want a fun experience, come on out and get some awesome items to decorate with!

Grandpa and Grandma Pumpkin had a fun day today. Along with our experienced customers, we also had some new faces picking out pumpkins. It is so fun for us to watch the little ones pulling a wagon around, filling it up, and parents putting some of them back. We get a lot of smiles this time of year.
Also a picture of our pumpkin pickers that work very hard to have pumpkins on the yard for you to pick from. Great young men.

We have broom corn for sale. Do you know what broom corn is? A lot of people do not know or even heard of it. We grow it for decoration. Bright colored seeds on the head are all different colors for fall decoration. We have grown it for about 20 years.
But the original use, and still used today, is for making brooms. If you look at the pictures, and vision it without the seeds, it looks exactly like the bristles on a broom. That was its original purpose. A lot of brooms are made with different bristles now, but there are still some handcrafted brooms that you can get that use this exact product for the bristles.
We sell a bundle for $10, and single stalks for $.75 Stop by and take a look. Nice decoration and a talking point now that you know what the original was used for.

The Time Has Come!! Opening day tomorrow Sept. 15th. Our crew has been busy picking, so we have a good variety to start with. We continue to be amazed at what we are blessed with for as dry as it was. Pumpkins, gourds of all sizes, broomcorn shocks, potatoes, onions, peppers, some squash (some squash still maturing) and colored corn for decorating. See you soon!

Does anyone recognize this person in the first 2 pictures. He was caught setting up his fall produce RIGHT NEXT TO OURS!!!! How does he think he rates?? He will even open the same day as us, Sept. 15th at 9am. The next thing that will happen is that he will get more tips because he is cuter!

The next picture is of Jack and Holden, and the very nice load of pumpkins that they picked today.
Then are some pictures of arrangements that Gail made as an example of what we will have for sale next week.
