This is a sweet little Fuji apple tree that I gave my husband one year for Valentine’s Day. This year we have a good crop on this tree. We planted it beside the barn. My horse, Captain, knows that when he has a good ride, he is rewarded with his own apple. 🍏🐴

Hey folks, I have recently had two questions about pressure canning. I have a Presto 23 qt canner. I would love a fancy American canner, but it is too heavy for my JennAire stovetop. This morning I am making a brine for refrigerator pickles with onion, cukes and banana peppers. My fresh dill isn’t mature yet, so I’m using dill seed. A jar of pickled veggies with crackers and cheddar cheese makes a delicious snack! 🧅🌶️🥒
