As Bob Ross would say, “Our Happy Little Accident”.
I was a few frames short in a shallow, with the intention of coming back and putting them in. I got busy and the bees did what bees do. This is 2 weeks worth of comb building from the inner cover. This is going to be beautiful cut comb honey if everything keeps going good.

Last week we had a very “little” surprise. Wheezy had a single buckling prematurely. He weighed 2 pounds 11 ounces. He struggled a bit early on, but now he is active and bossy.

One of our favorite things to do is share our honeybees with others. We were happy to be asked to visit again this year with Ms. Keesha’s preschool students at Baton Elementary. The students were already so knowledgeable about the importance of bees and food production, and their life cycles. Kudos to the teachers that teach more than academics🐝🐓🐄🐖
