Beautiful day at the Farmers Market

Farmers market Saturday morning 8 am to 12 noon. Caldwell County Library. Seven different sausages, honey, shiitake mushrooms, and cornmeal. Sample some sausage and cornbread. YUMMY! See you there.

Farmers market tomorrow 8am to 12 noon. I'll have sausage, eggs, cornmeal, herbs, and honey. All grown on our farm here in Caldwell County!

Here is some interesting honey. I have bees on our property high on a hill. The hives are surrounded by wild black berries. The honey is a purple. An "old timer" said in dry years that bees would take the juice of berries and infuse the honey. Anyway it's really awesome!
