We’re especially excited to feature A Touch of Bessie, blended from barrels selected by Irene Tan of
“This blend of American Single Malt from Virginia Distillery Company, Irish Whiskey from Clonakilty Malt and a Scottish Single Malt from Islay, is unlike any vatted malt ever created before because no one thought to or dared to do so.”
With a subtle hint of Islay influence, this whiskey was created in honor of Bessie Williamson: the first woman to own and run Laphroaig distillery in the 1970s. Strong, trailblazing, and unforgettable, it’s a beautiful tribute to one of the pioneering women in whiskey history.
