A few days after weaning, and these calves are settling into their new routine. 🐂❤️

Learning to eat from the bunks and getting comfortable with the new surroundings takes a few days, but they are catching on. Weaning is one of the most stressful times in a calf’s life, so we are keeping close watch for sickness. Thankful we have had some beautiful weather to help with the transition!

The boys are headed to town. 🐂🇺🇸

These yearling steers have spent the summer turning good grass into pounds, and today they’re leaving the pasture and heading one step closer to your family.

For us, this load represents over a year of work. We’ve paid for the land, feed, mineral, health care, fuel, equipment and labor — all year long. And now, after months of investment, we get one payday.

But it’s also a reminder of what those boys are ultimately producing: high-quality American 🇺🇸beef.

Beef is a nutrient-dense protein, providing important nutrients like protein, iron, zinc and vitamin B12. And American cattle producers work every day to raise a safe, wholesome, high-quality product for families across the country.

We’re proud to put that beef on American tables.

We’re also proud of the boys — and hopeful that the market recognizes the quality and hard work that went into raising them.

Because in the cattle business, we buy everything at full value and sell our product at wholesale.

This load is making a difference!

It is an honor to help organize our local school district’s Beef to School program and connect generous local cattle producers with our local schools. This animal is on its way to become nutritious, locally raised beef that will be served to students right here in our community.

A donated beef animal is more than a donation—it’s an investment in our kids, our school, and the future of agriculture. It provides high-quality, locally raised protein while showcasing the generosity of our farming and ranching community.

AI season ✔️ The last of the AI groups were bred this morning. The bulls will hopefully breed any cows that didn’t catch on their AI cycle. Looking forward to 2027’s calves. The decisions made for these groups will make great steaks on your plate in 2028!
