Thank you to all of our buyers who came out and purchased sheep on Saturday! Katahdin rams averaged $999, Dorper rams averaged $670, Dorper/Australian White rams averaged $983 and Texel rams averaged $908. The highlight of the sale was a group of consignment ewes which brought $800/head. Consignment ewes averaged $611 and are all sired by Glenbrook Farm rams. It is great to bring this kind of value to our ram customers. We had sheep go to 9 different states.

These three Texel rams sell next Saturday!

Leading the group is Finito, the 2021 National Champion Texel Ram. He has gone on to sire champion offspring for Clay-Nob Farms and has made a tremendous impact in our flock. We've retained several of his daughters to build our breeding program, and we've also collected and stored semen so we can continue using his genetics for years to come. Finito is also the sire of the other two Texel rams and the Texel ewe lambs selling in this year's sale, making this an excellent opportunity to add proven, championship genetics to your flock.
