I just wanted to take a moment to give you a farm update. This spring started out like any other. We had a great tulip season and planted pumpkins and the vines looked better than they ever had! However, summer took us in a different direction. Kaylee and I have been gifted the opportunity to spend more time with our kids as they get older and watch them do things that the farm would have caused us to miss. With that being said we will not be opening this fall.
Allowing ya'll to make memories with your families is why I started the farm and I hope you continue to go out and do so. Right now I'm going to take a little time off and go make some memories with mine! I want to thank you for all the wonderful times and will miss all of you but hope to see you down the road!

Not that any of us needed the reminder because if you have been outside for more than 5 minutes the last several days you already knew this, but according to the calendar it’s officially summer 😎😅

With summer comes plant monitoring and making sure the growing conditions are as favorable as possible. So I kindly asked this grasshopper to move along and find something else to munch on 😏

Stay safe out there friends, this heat is no joke! What’s your preferred method of cooling off - inside with the ac or the pool??

It’s June!! While we spend most of the summer prepping for fall and working on projects, Duke spends most of his wading in ponds and laying in the shade - he definitely prefers the cooler temps of fall and winter and isn’t quite as excited about summer as the rest of us!

We hope your June is off to a great start and you have plans to have fun and stay cool this summer. Anyone planning on escaping the TX heat and head somewhere cool?? Or are you like Duke and just plan to be int he water as much as possible??

These cutout boards were fun to make for last fall and even more fun to see all your cute (and sometimes silly) pictures with them! We are always trying to add new photo ops, while keeping some of the favorites from year to year. This truck will definitely be back this fall!

Still enjoying all the wildflowers around the farm, especially the Gaillardia! Also thankful for these spring rains that are spurring on some growth of the Christmas trees. We wait to mow most of the pasture area until all the wildflowers have a chance to go to seed.
