Sweet Home Organics of Carson Garden, Community, Cooperative Teaching Farm Our goal is to provide deliciously nutritious, organically grown food for our family and community.

We are re-creating (because we took a break to grow in other ways) a diversified farm using sustainable, environmentally friendly practices. Building upon and connecting to our community work where we have assisted in the development of school gardens, a farmers market, and our most recent project, a community teaching garden in downtown Jackson (early stages of formation), our plan is to transiti

on into a cooperative growing model on our farm, using experiential, agricultural education to further the mission of a sustainable community food system, growing community around good food.

Heading to Market on the Square tomorrow morning for my first fall market this year! We'll have just a few items this week... arugula, kale, basil, radishes, braising mustard, and a little purslane (my new favorite salad garnish that's LOADED with Omega-3s!). Come out to support locally grown goodness!
