Horse friends- I am looking for help! I am in search of a horse for lessons for the MSU Dressage Team. Ideal situation would be someone looking to trade board at Stapleton Farm for lesson use a few days a week but I would also consider a full lease for the right horse. We could also consider a donation horse as we are a 501c3. In the past we've had horses than need to step down in level, horses that have done breed show type work, semi retired horses. There is some flexibility in what we need however the Horse needs to be safe and have a balanced canter. Training/first level is great - bonus for additional training but balanced and safe are most important. Would consider a non dressage trained horse that is balanced wtc.
Individual turnout available on grass or dirt lot. Stall or pasture board options. Horse will not be shown and will recieve excellent care and much love at Stapleton farm.
Looking for creative ideas to give my MSU Team another horse to take lessons on so all ideas welcome.
Could consider a purchase but budget is too low to be realistic. MSUD is also a 501c3 so we can look at donation horses.

Looking for a stall cleaner 3-4 days a week. 11 stalls- utv available to use. Great work team.
Potential to also add more hours with morning chores and expand position if desired.

Stapleton Farm is looking to add a Team member for evening chores. Duties include bringing horses in, feeding, watering and general tidying. Takes less than two hours some flexibility on timing and days.

Horse friends! As many of you know I coach the Michigan State Dressage Team. We are considering hosting a tack sale at the Stapleton Farm indoor arena (just South of Lansing) sometime this October or November as a fundraiser.
This would be a chance for people to purchase a table spot (considering $25-30 a table) and sell their tack/equipment (keeping 100% profit). Alternately if you don't want to take time to set up a table you can donate tack and equipment to MSU Dressage as a tax deduction (we are a 501c3) and we will sell it and keep the profit as a donation. We are happy to pick up tack lots that are donated.
So 2 easy options to get extra tack and equipment moved out before winter and one great option to come and do some shopping and see fellow horse friends and colleagues!
We will have refreshments available and MSU Dressage merch.
Please comment if you think you or your barn might be interested and if october or november (not USDF finals week) would be better so we can gauge community interest. Please share share share :)
