Tea- Aki

This Hibachi/Bubble Tea restaurant has been open for a few weeks and it was time to try it out.
Let’s start with the good. The miso soup, ginger salad to start were good. We ordered the Calamari, DO NOT order. Its was crunchy and the calamari inside was like a stiff rubber band. The Bang Bang shrimp was very tasty twist on the usual style we get. The Shrimp Hibachi Dinner was great, tasty and plentiful.
The ambience was very nice except for the loud Hard Rock music playing ( play soft relaxing music) and the 3 waitresses eating take out at the counter( eat it out of site of your customer’s).

SOHO Slice - We could not wait any longer with all the bad publicity about this place.
Mabelyn was our waitress and she was great. Atmosphere was pleasant, just needs some pics on the walls but we really liked the comfy chairs & music.

Let's get to the food and drinks.

Lemoncello Martini was good but we really enjoyed the Italian Margarita.

Wagu Sliders were awesome, split as a 4 way app or just as an entree! Calamari was good and fresh, just watch out for the peppers 🌶️ lol.

So usually when we got to an Italian restaurant we get bread, side salad and an entree but not here, entree only but so filling not needed. The Chicken Parm dinner was very good but we all loved the SOHO Penne vodka. Delicious. The Quattro Formaggi was fantastic, we added 1/2 pepperoni but didn't even need it, lots of flavor.

Arrive hungry. Portions are not light.

Abbotts Grill-
Strolled into ag for some appetizers and cocktails. Everything was good but nothing was awesome. Space was very bright for a grill, staff was friendly but you could tell "new". We will go back for dinner and update 🙏

Riverhouse BBQ-

Before arriving in Montana, I did my research and found this gem. I must say, hands down the best meal we had while visiting. The Texas ribs were absolutely fantastic, chicken was crispy & tender, pulled pork, brisket & sausage were out of this world 🌎 Did I mention the baked beans, cole slaw & cornbread 🌽? Well what can I say but delicious!
There were 5 of us and we ordered the Family Meal for 4 and we had leftovers.

Cafe Pink Blossom 🌸

Decided to check out this cute place that everyone has been talking about.
Super friendly staff, great decor and ample outdoor seating.
We had the Caprese Grilled Cheese & Gyro, both were delicious & fries too! The only surprise was the $6 Arnold Palmer.

Oyster House-

Late night stop at LOH and so glad we did. Deliciously made cocktails by Rae, fresh halibut ceviche, mouth watering oyster’s 🦪 and catfish burger. Great ending to a long day.

Luv Thai-

What an amazing treat to find this food truck. Nicely seasoned Thai food that makes you want to try more!

Fat Vinny’s-

Mike and I stopped by for a quick lunch and this food truck did not disappoint. For $24 we had Vinny’s Philly Cheesesteak & Lamb Gyro. Both came with hand cut fries and a water. They both were packed with flavor and we walked away with very full bellies.

Milton Dough Bar-

Pleasantly surprised at the Dough Bar. Cocktails were tasty but they were out of a few “must haves”(Cabernet 🍷 & their signature Girl Scout Tagalong etc). The Fried Burrata was delicious, meatballs needed a bit more seasoning but were good, and the Margherita pizza was very good. Nice atmosphere and our waitress was excellent.

Thompson Island-

Stopped into TI to try the Surf Bagel Coffee ☕️ Stout after some shopping and ended up having the Classic TV Dinner 📺 as well. Absolutely delicious! Mike and I shared for lunch and it was one of our better decisions lol. Staff was wonderful ❤️

Long wait but it was worth it! When visiting Chester, NJ ya gotta stop into this lil gem.

Surf Bagel 🏄‍♀️ -

Fresh delicious bagels 🥯 what else could you ask for. We dared to venture out on Labor Day. Even though the lines were long we waited no more then 5 min. Added bonus they are big supporters of Cape Athletics.
