We’re incredibly grateful to share that Mealz On Wheelz received the 2026 Delaware Burger Battle Critics’ Choice Award! 🏆

Simply being allowed to compete just over four months into this journey was an honor. Thank you to the organizers, hosts, judges, volunteers, and everyone who made the event possible.

To our fellow competitors—thank you for welcoming the newbies, encouraging us, and making us feel like we belonged.

We’re honored to bring this one home to Sussex County and everyone who has supported us here in the Slower Lower.

We left humbled, thankful, and blessed beyond anything we expected. Thank you all for letting us be part of such an incredible day! 🍔

We sincerely apologize for the last-minute notice, but we badly misjudged how long it would take us to wrap up and depart the Delaware Burger Battle.

The good news is—we were officially named the Critics’ Choice Award winner! 🏆🍔

We spent much longer than anticipated feeding hungry burger enthusiasts as the line kept rolling. Once service started, we kept our heads down and slung burgers until every person in line had been served. By the time the line disappeared and we could begin breaking down, we simply couldn’t make it to BullHide and set up at a reasonable time.

We hate having to cancel and hope we can plan a makeup date very soon.

A HUGE thank-you to BullHide Brewery for being so gracious and willing to host us on such short notice. Y’all absolutely rock, and we truly appreciate your understanding! 🤠🍺

WE’RE COMING HOME! 🤠🍔🍺

After the Delaware Burger Battle, we’re crossing the bridge and heading to BullHide Brewery in Pilesgrove for dinner service!

Salem County isn’t just another stop for us—we spent the last eight years building our life there before moving to Delaware. Our family, friends, church family, and so many memories are still there, so bringing Mealz On Wheelz “home” for the evening feels pretty special.

We’re aiming to roll in around 5-ish, depending on Burger Battle breakdown, travel, and setup. Follow our page for the official “WE’RE OPEN!” update!
