Geez… TN is going backwards? The h**p taxes should’ve been enough, but they want more of the pie. It’s not about who THC helps or hurts its about Greed. So sad.

WHILE TENNESSEE LAWMAKERS CONTINUE TO FURTHER RESTRICT CANNABIS PRODUCTS, KENTUCKY MOVES IN THE OTHER DIRECTION TO HELP MORE PEOPLE.
More of those in the Blue Grass state will now be able to qualify for medical cannabis.
This week Gov. Andy Beshear signed an executive order to issue an emergency regulation clarify qualifying conditions for medical cannabis in Kentucky law.
This now means an additional fifteen
medical conditions will be recognized, including the following:
Sickle cell anemia
ALS
Crohn’s disease
Parkinson’s disease
Terminal illness
HIV
AIDS
Huntington’s Disease
Muscular dystrophy
Cachexia or wasting syndrome
Ulcerative colitis
Neurophathies
Severe arthritis
Fibromyalgia
Glaucoma
“The law is meant to provide a safe alternative form of pain relief for Kentuckians suffering, yet the law’s lack of clarity prevented too many people from receiving help. This step makes the law more clear,” said Gov. Beshear.
Makes sense doesn’t it?
A little over three years ago Gov. Beshear signed Senate Bill 47, legalizing medical cannabis for Kentuckians beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Meanwhile, medical ma*****na remains illegal in Tennessee … and lawmakers are passing further restrictions.
But, hey, for pain in the Volunteer State you can get legal opioids.
Here’s the truth: Any lawmaker who thinks ma*****na is more dangerous than an opioid is an idiot.
I personally know several ill Tennesseans whose only effective pain relief comes from ma*****na.
It may be illegal in Tennessee, but that’s not stopping anyone who needs it and is determined to get it.
They just take their money out of state.
I simply don’t understand it.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
