Throwback Thursday Story Time ☕️

This picture was taken today, but it got us thinking about where it all started.

Back in 2021, Wild Bean was the first local coffee shop to give Mountain Folk Coffee a shot. At the time, they gave us a spot on their counter with two pots of our locally roasted coffee.

Two pots. One big opportunity. ❤️

Fast forward to today, and we’re pretty proud of how that opportunity has grown. Mountain Folk Coffee now roasts all of the coffee The Wild Bean uses in their shop, along with their specialty roasts.

And today, you can find even more of Mountain Folk Coffee at The Wild Bean — including our new Appalachian Heritage Series coffees and a selection of MFC hats, shirts and hoodies. Oh, and don’t forget those amazing dark chocolate bean bars!

From two pots on a counter to roasting the coffee they serve every day… that’s the kind of growth you don’t forget.

We’re incredibly thankful to The Wild Bean for taking a chance on us back in 2021 and continuing to support us all these years later. And we’re thankful for every customer who has supported both of our small businesses along the way.

Sometimes you just need one local business willing to give another one a shot.

Five years later, we’re pretty grateful they did. ☕️❤️
