The beautiful weather this weekend is getting us even more excited for spring and gardening season! Here’s some photo updates from the basement where all of my plants get their start. Some of the early planted starts will be getting kicked outside soon to acclimate to the outdoor environment.

This is the time of year that takes the most work as you can’t just leave the plants outside after one day, it’s best to give them an hour to start, then the following days increase the time outdoors by an hour or two each day.

We still have basil if you are interested in some herbs! We will be planting more herbs and should be ready mid May!

Strawberry bare roots will be coming in next week so if you’re interested in the bare roots let me know, these can be planted outside NOW!!!! I will be potting the rest of the roots to be sold at a later date.

The advantage to planting the bare roots now is you may get a better harvest this year, these are ever bearing strawberries and should provide fresh fruit throughout the summer into fall.

If you are interested in Strawberry plants I will be getting bare-root plants in early April! We can either sell you the bare-root plants to go straight into your garden or pot them for you to be planted later! Let us know if you are interested as we will only have a limited number this year!

These are everbearing strawberry plants and can be productive the first year if planted early enough. These are frost tolerant and can be planted before our last frost!

If you aren’t worried about getting strawberries this year planting them in May/June would give the plants time to establish and next year provide a bountiful harvest!

If you look closely you can see life emerging from the soil! We had a little spring warm up and then got more snow, but was the groundhog right are we going to see spring sooner than later?

If you haven’t been thinking about your summer garden now is the time to start! We listened to what our customers wanted and we have herbs germinating now!! Basil, cilantro, thyme, dill, and chives. Herbs are even better when they are fresh and still have the natural flavors and aromas. Not only will herbs add a little something extra to meal time they also have great potential in the garden as companion crops.

I have been working hard on the formula for this and hammering out exactly what I wanted out of my salve!

I have very carefully chosen several ingredients proven to dive deep to reduce inflammation, increase circulation while designed to be healing/soothing to your skin. It smells pleasant too!

I use only the best ingredients -- organic and preferably from small business or ingredients I can gather or make myself.

ANYONE could make their own similar product, but I am proud of the quality of my salve and would love to save YOU on the costs!!
