Welcome to our last Wine Wednesday! We appreciate you following along, and as always, we hope you come check out all the wines we’ve featured! Last but certainly not least, is In-A-Gadda-Da-Via.
Consistent with our music theme, Pickers Creek’s red table wine is named after the legendary 1968
Iron Butterfly rock hit In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, which loosely translates as “in the garden of life.” The “garden of life” for wine drinkers is, of course, the vineyard—where soil, sunlight, and time come together to create something truly special. This wine is made from Chambourcin grapes, a French-American hybrid that thrives in Tennessee’s climate, including in the Pickers Creek vineyard,
where careful cultivation brings out its best qualities.
In the glass, this wine offers inviting aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry, layered with subtle notes of oak, black pepper, and a touch of earthiness that reflects its local roots. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity, making it lively and refreshing while still delivering enough depth and structure to satisfy red wine lovers. Soft tannins and a smooth finish make it especially
approachable, whether you’re new to wine or a seasoned enthusiast.
Available at the winery or to ship nationwide! 🍷
