On Friday, July 3, 2026, applicants interviewed for open positions on the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) board. They spoke about their desire to be on the board, their biggest influences in life, and their future goals.

The new officers and board members for the 2026-2027 year were named at the 2027 National Junior Limousin Show & Congress in Circleville, Ohio.

Our next NAJLA Board of Directors candidate is Caleb Ridgeway from Lewisburg, West Virginia!

"I would like to be a National Director because I feel like I can make some valuable connections with people in the cattle industry. This could possibly help me in my career after college. I also believe that it will help me develop and build some valuable life skills, such as interacting with people, public speaking and leadership roles. I will enjoy getting to be a part of the experiences we will get to have and getting to go to new places and learn new things about the cattle industry. I believe that I can expand my knowledge about the cattle industry and that will also help me in life and my career choices. I feel this will also strengthen my leadership roles and make me more comfortable in a leadership role. I would look forward to making new friends and getting to know people better in the Limousin cattle industry. I think all of this would be extremely helpful in my career choices and with experiences I will have in college."
