Myomania Myotonic Goat Show is a wrap! Thank you to the show committee for the fun show. We sure did enjoy it. Thank you to the judges Ricky Jorgenson, Debbie Mullins and Jim Dowell for their great feed back on our goats.

Huge congratulations to all the winners! It was wonderful to see our friends finishing some of their goats championships this weekend.

We took 11 in total this show and were pleased with how they all did with the tough competition and good size classes.

Head Over Heels Capella was constantly in the ribbons, I need to look up her placements but was super happy with the judges comments.

Fun classes - egg and spoon class was a blast and always look forward to it every year.

Best Matched Pair went to Claire with Head Over Heels Miss Wonderland and Vayda with her Head Over Heels Chiara that she got frim us this spring. We are excited to see them grow together. Miss Wonderland and Chiara are half sisters sired by Woody Creek Farm Mr Wonderful.

Flashy goat Claire and Miss Wonderland got 2nd place.

We had a great time at the National Trail Showdown in Illinois. It was so nice getting to see everyone and their lovely goats. Congratulations to all the people who won. We very much appreciate the feed back from the three judges Jeff Hughes show A, Debbie Mullins show B and Katie Bevels show C.

We brought 8 goats and proud of how they did. All of our our other goats held their own making the champion drive at least once. Claire got 2nd in showmanship all three shows. Theses kids are all so smart and do a great job. Congratulations to all!

Show A Reserve Grand Champion Platinum Wether
Show B & C Grand Champion Platinum Wether! For his 5th and 6th point pending verification- means he is now a Silver Champion and half way towards his Platinum Champion title! We celebrated by suggestion by our friends by taking pictures in front of the pig at the the persnickety pig on the way home.

Head Over Heels Sundance was Champion Youth Bred and Owned show A, regular classes, 2, 3 and 4th in large 3-6 month old class.

Head Over Heels Miss Wonderland Champion Youth Bred and Owned show B and placed in regular classes 1st, 4th in the 3-6th B class

Head Over Heels Flame of the Forest was Reserve Champion Youth Bred and Owned show B and Champion Youth Bred and Owned show C. First in youth Bred buckling class all shows.

Head Over Heels Capella was 1st, 2nd and 4th in the 3-6 month old junior doe class.

Head Over Heels Fancy was 1st, 1st, and 2nd in the 12-18 month junior doe class.

Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker was the only Junior Platinum Wether so he got Champion Junior all shows with nice remarks from the judges. It was good practice for him. He is looking for a show home and will be shown till then so watch out for him.

Last but definitely not least our buck 1x GCH Woody Creek Farm Blow Torch was first in his classes of 12-18 month bucks.

Highlights post first then later will sit down for placements on everyone. Tennessee Valley Jamboree is a wrap!

Our foundation doe Brassring Freezeframe of Snowflake Grand Champion Doe show c!!! Pending verification- this is the first doe point for our herd and it is fitting that it was our Snowflake who started Claire in the show world. What makes this even more special was the little girl who sold her to my little girl showed her in show C and showed her all 6he way into Grand. Snowflake is very much loved by theses two girls. Congratulations to Haarman Family Farm lovely doe for their reserve Grand Champion win !

Show A our buck 1xGCH Woody Creek Farm Blow Torch got got Reserve Grand Champion buck in a large very competitive show. He is such a joy to show and we have been loving his kids and currently have a doeling and three bucklings of his we are growing out. Congratulations to Amazing Grace Farm for their Grand Champion Buck win with their handsome buck!

Show A our very own Bronze Champion Head Over Heels Puzzle (who by the way is Snowflake's son) was Reserve Grand Champion Platinum Wether behind the lovely Amazing Grace Farm Beetlejuice! Congratulations !

Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker was Reserve Champion Junior Platinum Wether show a and b and Champion Junior Platinum Wether show C! Vibe is a son of Woody Creek Farm Autum Sky and sired by Brassring Vibe. He is available to a show home and shown till he finds it. This is a breeding we will be repeating as i loved it so much.

Youth breed and Owned show B Champion and Reserve Champion was Head Over Heels Sundance (doeling) and Head Over Heels Flame of the Forest (buckling). Sundance is Snowflake and Blow Torch's daughter. Flame is WCF Honey-Dew and Blow Torch's son. Theses two are Claire's pick kids from her breeding program so she is very proud!

Showmanship Claire got 1st all three shows against tough competition. Theses youth are so smart and work so hard i am proud of all of them.

Yesterday was a very special win with our Snowflake! We can't thank Black Walnut Farm for giving us the opportunity to start our herd with Snowflake and thank you to her breeder Brassring Farm for breeding such a special doe.

Each of the girls in this picture has a heart for the breed. Elisabeth was given a special opportunity to show Brassring Freezeframe of Snowflake. Elisabeth raised Snowflake as a bottle kid and when Snowflake was two years old she went to live with Claire at Head Over Heels Farm. Both girls were all smiles when Snowflake earned Grand Champion Doe in Show C.
A big Congratulations! to Haarman Family Farm on their Reserve Grand Champion win.

The youth are the future of our breed, and these girls along with many other excellent MGR Youth has our future looking bright!
