Southern Charm Myotonic Goat Show in Georgia is a wrap! This show is a treat with it's air conditioned show ring! Thank you to the Epperson family and everyone involved for a great show. We had a great time. Thank you to judges Jeff Hughes show A, Jacob Smith show B and Ava Prior show C for all your great feed back about our goats.

Head Over Heels Roar Omega Roar - youth Bred and Owned 1st, 1st,1st. Champion Youth Bred and Owned, show A. Reserve Champion Youth Bred and Owned show C . 1st, 2nd, 3rd in 6-9 month old buckling and Reserve Grand Champion buck show A and Reserve Junior Champion Buck. The show did a fun class best in show youth Bred and owned and Roar won that!

Head Over Heels Sundance - youth Bred and Owned 1st, 4th, 4th. Reserve Champion Youth Bred and Owned behind her brother Roar. 2nd, large in 6-9 month doeling class.

Gold Champion Head Over Heels Puzzle was 1st, 1st, 1st and Grand Champion Platinum Wether show A and B for point 10th and 11th!!!! He has one more point left before he gets his Platinum! Hard to believe!

Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker 1st, 2nd, 1st 6-9 month Platinum Wether and Champion Junior Platinum Wether show A and B! This was Heartbreaker's last show with us as he found a wonderful home where he will be shown and loved by Theo of Heavenly Pines Farm. I am so happy Heartbreaker found his youth and so looking forward to seeing their adventures together.

Head Over Heels Capella 4th, 3rd, in large competitive 6-9 month class.

Claire was 2nd, 2nd 3rd in showmanship.

Southern Heritage Myotonic Goat Show Corey went solo while Claire and I went to Breyerfest for the first time (love it by the way). Corey took a handful of goats and I am thankful to everyone who helped him.

Ms Lexi showed Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker to Grand Champion Platinum Wether show A for his first point pending verification. And show B Champion Junior Platinum Wether show B. Heartbreaker even got borrowed by Bryson for Junior Showmanship. Corey had fun showing him in the best matched pair with Ms Paisley and her goat.

Corey showed Claire's Brassring Freezeframe of Snowflake to 1st place out of 8 aged senior Does. Claire gave Corey written permission that he could show her but said he didn't have permission to show Snowflake's son Puzzle- so Puzzle stayed home lol.

Head Over Heels Fancy Corey showed and they got 1st in show A and 2nd in show B.

We very much appreciate the feed back from judges Debbie Mullins (show a) and Katie Bevels (show b). I hated to miss this local show and Heartbreaker getting his first point but glad Corey was able to go show and support the show.

It was fun getting asked for our goats to be part of this project. They did a great job of showing all the different things that help make up Lewisburg Tennessee including fainting goats 😀

Did you know Myotonic Goat Registry has four divisions to show goats in? Does, Bucks, market wethers and Platinum Wethers? We love the Platinum Wether division as it show cases breed character and the wonderful temperament that the Myotonic Goat has. They can the longest show career out of all the divisions as they can earn up to 12 points! Theses Platinum Wethers are wonderful for showmanship, pets and breed ambassadors.

Hoosier Hysteria Myotonic Goat Show last weekend was such a fun show. We enjoyed seeing friends and making new ones. Great crowd and goats. The weather was a nice break as we got home and it has been hot 🫠 . Ms Martha provided a wonderful lunch for Saturday.

And did you know there are black squirrels!?! We got to see black squirrels at the show grounds!

Some highlights was Puzzle earning two more points making his total 9 which pushes him over to GOLD champion status (Pending verification). Head Over Heels Redneck Girl owned and loved by Southern Elm Farm getting her 1st point and best in show. Head Over Heels Flame of the Forest Junior Champion Buck and champion youth Bred and Owned and ReserveChampion YBO. , Head Over Heels Sundance Champion Youth Bred and Owned 2 shows. And Claire getting Reserve Champion Showmanship show C. Thank you to the Oppy Family girls for showing our Heartbreaker in show B and C. Thank you to judges Jacob Smith, Debbie Mullins and Katie Bevels on their feed back about our goats

We might be banned from Buccees for getting out and taking pictures to celebrate Puzzle's gold status 😆 🤣 😂

We wanted to make a special post congratulating Southern Elm Farm on their best in show win and putting the 1st point (pending verification) on their yearling doe Head Over Heels Redneck Girl at the Hoosier Hysteria Myotonic Goat Show in Indiana this weekend! This is the first doe Bred by Claire to get a point! Claire is quick to point out that she has Bred the point earners and mom and dad have some catching up to do 😆

Head Over Heels Redneck Girl was one of Claire's youth Bred and owned doelings from last year. She is out of Double O Lovely Reba and sired by Woody Creek Farm Mr Wonderful. We felt this doeling and her sister (Fancy, who is in our show string) were beautiful but we can't keep them all. Our friends from Southern Elm fell in love with her when she was a day old and called dibs if she became available. Thank you to Southern Elm Farm for giving her a good home and we hope she continues to make you proud!

Myomania Myotonic Goat Show is a wrap! Thank you to the show committee for the fun show. We sure did enjoy it. Thank you to the judges Ricky Jorgenson, Debbie Mullins and Jim Dowell for their great feed back on our goats.

Huge congratulations to all the winners! It was wonderful to see our friends finishing some of their goats championships this weekend.

We took 11 in total this show and were pleased with how they all did with the tough competition and good size classes.

Best Matched Pair went to Claire with Head Over Heels Miss Wonderland and Vayda with her Head Over Heels Chiara that she got frim us this spring. We are excited to see them grow together. Miss Wonderland and Chiara are half sisters sired by Woody Creek Farm Mr Wonderful.
