Up next to kid is our lovely RGCH Brassring Cora Mae. Look at her beautiful little udder she has sprung! Cora Mae caught Corey's eye quickly as a kid at her breeder Lisa's house and we were lucky enough to get to bring her home. We are looking forward to seeing her kid born and also getting to show her off next year as a senior doe.

Charming Claire and her little girls enjoying the sun. She is a great 1st time mom and keeps a watchful eye over them as they soak up the sun under the feed trough. Still working on names but right now it looks like the blue doeling will be Silver Charm or Miss Silver Charm. (Yes I am a fan of the race horse Silver Charm) Her sister still need to come up with a name fitting. Their mom's name is Charming Claire and dad's name is Mr Electric Blue. I will add tge pedigree in the comments.

Sneak peak at our newest doeling born this afternoon out of Woody Creek Farm Blue Sky and sired by GCH Woody Creek Farm Blow Torch! There might have been a squeal of delight when our youth breeder picked her up and found out she was a girl. Blue Sky has given us several buck kids in the past so she was very excited to finally get her doe kid.

We are excited to watch this twins grow. The black doeling has a classic star on her head and the blue girl appears to have gotten her color from her mom and dad 😉

Myotonic Goat Registry Nationals and Fall Finale in Kentucky is a wrap! It was so great seeing people coming from each coast, north and south! Wonderful to get to hang out with old and new friends. It truly is like a big family. We got to see friends get their final point on their goats to winning national and Reserve national championships! Such a great representation of the breed at national!

We brought back some rosettes and ribbons ourselves and got great feed back from the judges. Debbie Mullins was Friday night judge and Jim Dowell Saturday afternoon judge.

Some highlights:

Claire got Grand Champion Junior Showmanship show A and 3rd show B
Her Youth Bred and Owned held their own with one really shining.

3xRGCH Head Over Heels Roar Omega Roar:
Champion Youth Bred Owned show A
Reserve Champion Youth Bred and Owned show B
Champion Junior Buck show A
Reserve Grand Champion Buck show A

We got to watch GCH Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker won Reserve Grand Champion Platinum Wether in show a and his boy show him. Congratulations! We are so proud of that pair! Thank you to Heavenly Pines for giving him a loving home

Egg and spoon fun contest Claire said I had to do it with her and she got 3rd and I got 4th such a fun class.

Claire got to show her Puzzle in Nationals. No win but he looked good out there. The Platinum wethers that won were stunning as were the rest of the national champions. It was an honor to just see them out there with all thoses other champions.

They also handed out top 10 year end points which i will make a separate post for. But quick run down. Claire ended up with GOLD GCH Puzzle tied for 5th with GCH Head Over Heels Vibe's Heartbreaker that is Owned by Heavenly pine. And Claire's 5 Youth Bred and Owned she took turns showing this year all made top ten in doe or buck divisions. That was exciting.
